Reserving Your Pork from GFC Farms

At GFC Farms, we make it simple to reserve high-quality, pasture-raised pork by the half or whole pig. Here’s a quick overview of how the process works:

Choose Your Share

You can reserve either a half or whole pig, depending on your needs. Each option includes a deposit at the time of reservation, and your final cost will be based on the hanging weight (the weight after the pig has been processed and cleaned).

  • Whole Pig – Approx. 200-240 lbs of pork

  • Half Pig – Approx. 100-120 lbs of pork

  • Price – $2.00 per pound (hanging weight), plus a separate butcher fee

Make Your Reservation

To reserve, simply submit your deposit: This deposit secures your share and is applied to your final invoice.

  • $100 for a whole pig

  • $50 for a half pig

Butcher Date & Cut Selection

Once your pig is processed, the butcher will contact you within 1–3 business days to go over your preferred cuts. You’ll be able to customize your order at that time.

Pickup & Payment

  • Processing time is typically 2–3 weeks.

  • You’ll pick up your pork directly from the butcher once it’s ready.

  • GFC Farms will send an invoice 1–3 business days after the butcher date, with full payment due within 30 days.

  • Butcher fees are paid separately at pickup and vary depending on your selected cuts.

Cancellation Policy

​We understand plans change. You’ll receive a full deposit refund if you cancel more than 30 days before the butcher date. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.
